Which Swedish AI inference providers are GDPR-safe and immune to the Cloud Act?
Berget AI, grunden.ai and Staik run their own hardware in Sweden and claim no US-entity involvement. These sovereignty claims are currently status-marked 'claimed' until verified against each provider's DPA — not 'confirmed'. See each provider's detail page for source and date.
Which Swedish provider actually holds achieved certifications (ISO 27001) today?
As of 2026-06-19, none of the compared Swedish commercial-inference providers hold ISO 27001 as confirmed-achieved. grunden.ai explicitly lists ISO 27001, BSI C5 and EUCS as goals for the seed round — not achieved. We always separate 'achieved' from 'planned'.
Do Swedish and European AI providers support the Model Context Protocol (MCP)?
MCP support is confirmed for Intric (Swedish, open source) plus European Mistral and Scaleway. For Berget AI, grunden.ai, Staik and Vakta it is not yet explicitly confirmed on the public pages — so the field stays 'unknown' until verified. We never guess.
Which provider bills in SEK instead of EUR or USD?

KB-Whisper, the National Library of Sweden's Swedish-optimised speech-to-text, is run by Swedish providers such as Berget AI and Staik.
Which AI provider fits the public sector and municipalities?
Vakta and Intric explicitly target the public sector; Intric is also open source (AGPL) and supports MCP. Always verify data residency and the DPA against the provider's own documents before procurement — we mark sovereignty claims as 'claimed' until verified.
Which providers are confirmed free from the US Cloud Act?
Among those compared, Scaleway explicitly states it is not subject to the Cloud Act (confirmed against source). Most Swedish providers claim no US involvement but are status-marked 'claimed' until verified against company registries or the DPA. Nebius is flagged specifically: data centres in the US/Israel and a Nasdaq listing create elevated exposure.
How is this comparison different from an ordinary catalogue?
