  Verification policy documented — the burden of proof sits with the provider The method page now describes how verification stays sustainable without lowering the bar: automatic fields are corroborated by the weekly scraper, document fields are read against binding agreements, and artifact fields (certifications, ownership chains) require the provider to submit opened artifacts — we don't chase, we read what is submitted. Verification is event-driven, never sweeping. The provider page specifies what certificate evidence is (number + accredited body + validity + scope, for the right legal entity — a group company's certificate is not enough), and confirmed certificates with validity dates are now machine-watched: 60 days before expiry they are automatically flagged for re-check.

  ISO 27001 axis re-examined with a verification ladder — same bar for everyone Following qualified external input we reviewed the entire ISO 27001 axis: 'confirmed' now requires opened certificate artifacts (certificate number, accredited body, validity, scope) — a logo or a sentence on a website is not enough, and a group company's certificate does not automatically cover the service you buy. Result: only providers with opened certificates remain confirmed; seven were reclassified to claimed (self-declaration without public artifacts), one to unknown (the page makes no certification claim), and four previously unresearched providers received honest unknown status after a sweep. No Swedish inference provider has publicly verifiable ISO 27001 certification today — claims exist, artifacts don't. The verification ladder is documented in the requirement page's definition.

  Legal axis deepened: FISA 702, EO 12333, the adequacy decision and NIL Following input from data-protection lawyers: the 'Cloud Act exposure' field is now 'US access laws (CLOUD Act/FISA 702)' — both laws follow the provider's ownership and control chain, and FISA 702 was the primary ground in Schrems II. The glossary splits the old combined entry into separate, dated definitions of the CLOUD Act, FISA 702 and EO 12333, and gains new entries on the adequacy decision/DPF (formally in force, materially contested — with a timeline) and China's National Intelligence Law. An important nuance now documented: signals intelligence under EO 12333 follows data paths and encryption, not ownership, and therefore cannot be read off an ownership column.

  FAQ rewritten neutral and evergreen The FAQ named individual providers in its answers — that read as a recommendation and went stale with every data change. Each answer now explains the concept and the status discipline (confirmed versus claimed) and points to the live tool — the comparison's filters, requirement and model pages — instead of listing providers. We never recommend a provider; the judgement is the reader's, our job is the evidence. Zero provider names and zero hardcoded dates left in the answers.

  External QA resolved: tap targets, public data hygiene, Intric re-verified The rest of the external QA report: (1) Small icons (status, help, model arrows) now have a 24px tap area for touch — visually unchanged, density preserved. (2) The public data API scrubbed of internal work notes. (3) llms.txt now follows the standard format with real links so AI tools can parse the file. (4) Intric restructured their site and our source links died — all ten facts re-verified against new sources, including their trust center which publicly lists an ISO 27001:2022 certificate and subprocessors (Glesys, Berget AI, Airon — Swedish!). The datacenter field upgraded unknown→confirmed via the subprocessor register.

  Bilingual machine-readability tightened Following an external QA report: English pages declared a Swedish language tag in structured data (JSON-LD inLanguage sv-SE, a Swedish dataset name). English pages now carry en-US and an English dataset name, and the WebSite schema is honestly declared bilingual. Swedish provider, model and requirement pages also expose on-page hreflang alternates (sv/en/x-default) rather than only in the sitemap — so answer engines and search engines pair the language versions correctly.

  Vakta removed after review Vakta didn't belong in the registry. It's a governance/RAG layer the customer runs in their own environment and which forwards the query to a third-party model — not an inference or infrastructure provider you buy. Its model list (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) reflected the user's model choice, not hosted models, and made the site wrongly generate model pages where Vakta appeared to be an inference host. Provenance also rested entirely on a single marketing page. We'd rather list fewer, correctly categorised providers than one more on shaky ground. Registry: 24 providers.

  Source-verified share cards Provider, model and vendor-lock-in pages now have their own share cards — drop a link on LinkedIn, Discord or X and the preview becomes a poster instead of naked text. The provider card shows the jurisdiction verdict (coloured by sovereignty) and how many facts are confirmed against a source; the model card shows how many providers run the model and how many under Swedish jurisdiction. Generated automatically from the data (Swedish + English), no manual step. Other pages fall back to the default image so nothing is shared bare.

  Fair price comparison: anchor model + price range “From” prices compared apples and pears — one provider's 1B model against another's flagship. Now: pick an anchor model (e.g. gpt-oss-120b, served by 7 providers) and see the price for the SAME model everywhere — an 8.8× spread, it turns out. The overview also shows each provider's full price range instead of a single “from” figure.

  Scraper self-heals JS-rendered pricing pages Aderian GDM's price table renders in the browser and was invisible to the scraper. The pipeline now detects the gap itself (seed price baseline vs harvest), renders the page in Chrome and parses Swedish table prices — all four model prices corroborated automatically. Plus a coverage guard: a provider can no longer be added without scraper monitoring.

  Aderian GDM verified after provider contact GDM (now Aderian GDM) reached out. We re-verified the DPA + API docs against sources, upgraded OpenAI compatibility to confirmed, and listed Dedicated GPU (compute) plus Eneo Hosting (platform, open source — formerly Intric). Ownership fields were simultaneously downgraded to claimed: the chain runs via Aderian Group/Adelis PE and the fund structure is unverified. The provider is the source, never the author of its own row.
